Paper Macchiato

coffee-timePrinter ink may be very costly nowadays; sometimes even more expensive than the printer itself. No fear, the RITI coffee printer is here (soon)! Using the coffee (or tea) dregs as the required “ink”, this concept is both eco-friendly and wallet-friendly. Imagine having to work and printing documents which smell like coffee! Not having to worry about the professor, client, or interviewer falling asleep while reading, certainly removes some stress as well. Of course, there are some new ideas such as pushing the ink cartridge side to side to print instead of being done mechanically. This may just seems like a silly idea (and lots of manual work), but who knows, this may be the start of attracting people to environmentally friendly products.

I Seem To Be Missing Utensils

HideForget about Waldo, where are the utensils? While breakfast is the topic, might as well introduce the Holy Grail of Cutlery Alignment as named by Ivo Vos. From the same company as the toast launcher, lining up utensils just before any meal can be fun too. Feel a wonderful sense of accomplishment when guests ask for a certain utensil that’s already right in front of them. Cleverly designed, napkins were not included in this set. Probably due to the reason that the guest may use the placemat instead. See a common colour scheme?

3, 2, 1, Order Up!

Wii ToastNow there’s a new reason to look forward to every morning! Instead of just placing the bread in the toaster, people must now aim where the toast should land. A concept by Ivo Vos, this certainly is motivation to promote waking up. Controlling both the angles and the amount of force needed, the toast should just softly glide into the plate; right? Although several practice rounds may be required, just think how neat it would be to show friends and relatives next time they decide to come over. One thing to remember, don’t place your Wii games inside.

Fit Massage

wii_fit_massage-copyTo those indoor exercisers, the Wii Fit was the greatest invention of all time. However, spending 10 minutes walking up and down on a Wii Fit board looking at the screen just isn’t the best use of time. After a long period of time, the Wii Fit foot massage pad was invented. While stepping up and down on the board, it’ll massage feet like a charm. As an added bonus, it provides extra traction, which is just a fancy way of saying ‘won’t slip’. With all these (2) beneficial features, one can only hope to stand on one of these wondrous silicon mats.

Golf Cart Minus The ‘t’

dsc_02221-copyWhat’s the difference between a car and a golf ball? Give up? A car can look like a golf ball, but a golf ball can’t look like a car. Wait a second; a car can look like a golf ball? Apparently, a company known as FastSkinz provides a service that will make your car all hole-y. So why would anyone want to do this? According to golf ball studies (yes, people do spend the time to study a golf ball), the dimples in the golf ball decrease the drag, making it go further and faster. Other than making cars look more awesome than they already are, this allows cars to move with less drag and theoretically saving you gas. FastSkinz claims an 18-20 percent improvement in gas milage. Neat-o looking + Gas Saving = Awesome!!!

Wide-Screen TV

Ultra-Widescreen GoodnessThe new Philips Cinema 21:9 is an ultra widescreen tv. Though the TVs nowadays are starting to get wider, none has compared to this so far. The Philips Cinema allows watching widescreen movies without the 2 black bars, giving a perfect movie viewing experience. This 56″ may allow watching movies happily, but what about normal TV channels? Normal TV channels + Ultra widescreen TV = BIG FAT BARS on the side. So if trading the two bars on top and bottom to watch a perfect movie  for two huge bars on the sides while watching TV, this is the most ideal television.

Sushi-Time

Sushi Time

For those that enjoy eating sushi, it may seem that nothing could make it anymore better. Well that bubble might just be burst now. Introducing the Sushi-Ushi Line (by Vikki Smyth): the world’s most decorative way to display your sushi. Fancy sushi restaurants may use a boat or other bamboo formed platter to serve food and many may think that’s fancy. Sushi-Ushi Line totally changes the way one may view the word “fancy.” Underlined with colorful blocks, be sure not to eat the blocks instead of the sushi.
